01

Who is responsible?

This website is operated by Adam Crickett, trading as JoeSparkx Software, in the United Kingdom. JoeSparkx Software is responsible for any personal information it directly collects and uses.

02

Information handled by this website

JoeSparkx Software does not currently use user accounts, a mailing list, advertising tools or visitor analytics. If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, enquiry type, message and confirmation that you have read this notice.

The platform that hosts the website may process limited technical information—such as your IP address, browser or device information, request times and security logs—to deliver, maintain and protect the service. JoeSparkx Software does not currently receive visitor-level analytics from that processing.

03

When you contact us

If you contact JoeSparkx Software through the form, by email, social media or through project correspondence, we use your contact details and message to respond, discuss work or manage our relationship with you.

The website form is processed by FormSubmit, which sends the submission to joesparkx@gmail.com and uses reCAPTCHA screening to reduce spam. Your submission therefore passes through FormSubmit before reaching JoeSparkx Software. Do not submit health information, passwords or other sensitive personal data.

Where UK data protection law applies, this is normally done because it is necessary to take steps at your request, to perform a contract, or because we have a legitimate interest in replying and keeping appropriate business records.

04

Cookies and similar technology

This website does not currently set analytics, advertising or personalisation cookies. Its hosting platform may use technology that is strictly necessary to provide and secure the site.

When you dismiss the cookie notice, your browser stores a small preference called joesparkx-cookie-notice-v1 in local storage. It contains only the word “dismissed”, is not sent to JoeSparkx Software and is used solely to stop the notice appearing on every page. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site’s stored data in your browser.

05

Sharing and storage

JoeSparkx Software does not sell personal information. Information may be handled by service providers where needed to host the website, screen and deliver form submissions, provide email or support business operations. This currently includes the website hosting platform, FormSubmit and Google’s reCAPTCHA service when you submit the form.

Those providers may process information in other countries under their own privacy terms and applicable safeguards. Messages and business correspondence are kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, working relationship, legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

06

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct or erase your personal information; restrict or object to its use; receive a portable copy; and withdraw consent where consent is the basis being used.

To raise a privacy question or exercise a right, email joesparkx@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
